Gaea Goddess Gathering 2007
September 13th - 16th
And we grow...
Upon entering our cabin at Camp Gaea, we were greeted with welcoming gift baskets full of organic baby cookies, earplugs, handcrafted magnets fashioned into a drum, a well, a face, and a broom, (very personalized! Thank you!!!) Cinderella candies (Jennie brought her little faery girl Isabel), bottle openers, decorative wine corks, a lovely bottle of mead, and various other little surprises. They made us feel right at home. They fed us, offered us helpful and kindly assistance when we needed it (when I locked my keys in my car!) offered much praise for our performance, (which went splendidly) and were very warm hostesses.
We were blessed to have the addition of Michelle EagleHeartstrings joining us this time, and man, this lady can lay down the enchantment with her musical abilities. Her heart really does sing through her instruments, her smile, her voice, and even her whole body. A fond memory that will never leave me is the sight and sound of her in the dining hall on the last morning, playing some mean jams on her violin, and had the whole place stomping with joy as the harmony filled the room. Awesome.

Good memories; Jennie saying "awesome," the lady who gave out all of the garden faeries at the end of the event, meeting the ladies who did the oils, the pottery, the cloaks, the silver jewelry, the Temple of Mother Holla, the children, the young ladies, the way the girls there were sooo grown up (I saw children there running booths with more responsibility that a lot of adults I know!), the smoothies, all of the fae energy there, the bee lady, hanging out with Sherrie and Raven (& her mom!) and Jasmine and Mary and all of the gals, Kittin as the Dark Fae, Jennie and all of her skirts, not being able to find our own cabin at two in the morning, me & Kittin listening to Gwen Stephanie and Evanescence and Nickel Creek full blast in our cabin and dancing around like crazy people, the midnight margarita party, hanging with Aislinn, getting out and meeting new people... thank so much for having us... it was quite enjoyable and rewarding.
Blessed Be, and we move on... Beltana
